With as many launch sites as the nature coast has, you may wonder, "which one should I pick to go scalloping?". Well, the choice is really pretty obvious. At Crystal River and Homosassa launch sites, you will spend nearly an hour getting out to the scallop grounds, and have to deal with heavy boat traffic and two idle zones at both locations. At our launch site in Ozello, you will be at the scallop grounds in under 20 minutes, having minimal boat traffic and no idle zones! The less time you spend riding out, the more time you have to hunt for scallops!!
