As last years scallop count may not have been as high as everyone would have liked, we have been anticipating this season more than ever! Below is a picture from one of our shrimp suppliers, showing the amount of scallops that came up while shrimping (he of course threw them back after this pic, not scallop season yet!). He stated that this picture was not even one drags worth of scallops, and this amount was equivalent or BETTER than 2 seasons ago (one of our best seasons).
